I agree with the article – Remainers cannot count on Starmer, but didn’t Wales vote to leave in 2016? Didn’t it vote in 2019 to support Johnson and “get Brexit done” in some of the Welsh Labour heartlands? Ironically mentioned in the article Menai shell fishermen, Anglesey voted to leave.
There is no point blaming the Tories or bringing up that old myth, blame the English.
Simply Welsh voters have to openly admit their error and ask to join the single market NOW, ASAP, PDQ…and instantly resolve many of the issues the Welsh economy now has due to a hard Brexit.
