  1. I never supported Brexit. No one in my family did. My mother voted Remain at the age of 90 because she had lived through the war. Brexit has made us financially poorer and with that fascist now in the White House, we need Europe more than ever. Of course the EU isn’t perfect. Who or what organisation is? But we live in Europe. We can’t change geography. Leaving the EU was a mad populist experiment. Boris Johnny Come Lately didn’t even believe in Brexit but it suited him politically to support it. And young people didn’t vote for Brexit. It was mostly old people – except for my mother!!
