I occasionally work as a professional actor/roleplayer for a major university’s School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy.
In the past we met students from all over the world – many of whom were part of the Erasmus scheme. Without exception these young people were engaging, enthusiastic and keen to learn. The removal from the Erasmus scheme was a major blow to the University and, indeed, to the students themselves.
I am delighted to learn that the government is now exploring the possibilities of re-engaging with Erasmus and look forward to meeting Erasmus students again in years to come.
