Ergo, less manufacturing means fewer employment opportunities. Whole townships have been deserted. Meanwhile in the Greater London area & associated commuter belt the nimbys are opposed to providing more housing where the service industry jobs abound. RIP UK. Elsewhere in Europe Germany, France & Austria face their own unique difficulties. I am 74 years old. Will I live to see a solution to these issues?
