  1. “Feels like”???? It was one of the most serious mis-steps ever to be perpetrated on the ordinary people of this country by the wealthy people who wanted to avoid paying a ew tax (given they already do everything they can to avoid tax – this was a whole new ball-game!)
Those who promoted Brexit were, in the main, those most likely to benefit. They didn’t care one jot about how ordinary people’s lives would be affected. They lied to the electorate and, sadly, far too many people listened to them instead of checking the facts for themselves.
I work for a University which welcomed Erasmus students. I met many of these students who were, without exception, bright, engaging and who wanted to learn. Our young people lost the opportunities afforded by Erasmus – just because some wealthy people wanted to avoid paying a new tax. Those wealthy people had it easy at schools/university but they denied ordinary people the same opportunities.
Shame on every one of them!
